I finally organized my Sailor Moon doll collection the new way. Before the dolls were up by season and company. With that arrangement for some reason I always separated Bandai America, Irwin, Pretty Guardian and World dolls out and mixed everyone else. Now I decided, to heck with companies and organized by seasons and characters. This means that I paid no attention to the year of release, country or company but only to the character and the season they first appeared in or reappeared in later. After I finished rearranging I realized that I was in trouble and could not avoid mixing of the seasons. If I went by my original plan then the first, third and fifth season shelves of my glass case were crammed but second and fourth were fairly empty. So the arrangement ended up a bit different than I hoped for but then again this is what happens when you don’t keep track of your collection for a while. So here’s the arrangement so far (picture coming later):

Very top of the glass case: Sonokong 35 cm Sailor Moon doll (in box to save space), on top of her are 2000 Irwin Sailor Moon (bought loose and refurbished), Sailor Mercury and Sailor Mars, to the sides of the box are Sailor Jupiter and Venus from the same series. In front are Bandai America Sailor Jupiter (correct shoes version) and Irwin Sailor Jupiter (sailor moon style boots version), then comes Moon, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter and Venus in front of them from 2001-2002 Sailor Moon Mini Collection series, Irwin Sailor Moon (in moon cycle), Mercury and Mars mini dolls from various years to the side of them, Queen Beryl mini doll and two Bandai America Sailor Venus mini dolls (one with correct shoes and one with sailor moon style boots). On the very front and slightly to the sides are: Bandai America Standard Sailor Moon, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter and Venus dolls (sailor moon boots version) with their mini versions on their lap, Crescent Wand lip gloss and to the very back of all the dolls the crescent jewelry box with silver crystal, friendship rings, tiny crescent earrings (Irwin release but in the crescent jewelry box), and the first season sailor moon badge. And if that’s not overcrowded enough I still dream of adding 5 more dolls to it from 1997 Irwin release and preferably the extra outfit or light up tiara versions (Moon, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter and Venus)

Very first glass shelf: Sonokong Korean standard Sailor Moon doll (for some reason she was made without gloves and a neckband but her brooch fits the second season), Bandai Europe R edition: Mercury, Mars, Jupiter and Venus, 2001 Irwin Princess Serenity, Bandai World Sailor Moon Mini Collection Chibi Usa with her Time Key and 1997 Irwin Sailor Pluto (silver version), her mini version and Chibi Moon (Pluto appeared in the R season and Chibi Usa transformed to Chibi Moon in R story in Manga). I also left the clip-on earrings from Italian Sailor Venus hang where as a decoration. The doll I still want to add to that shelf is Bandai Japan R Chibi Usa doll and 2001 Irwin Black Lady doll

Second glass shelf: Italian Sailor Beauty set with Sailor Moon doll, Italian Sailor Moon S doll re-dressed in Crisis outfit, Italian Sailor Mercury doll, Bandai Japan Team Sailor Pluto and Sailor Neptune, Bandai Europe Team Sailor Pluto and Sailor Uranus, 1997 Irwin Super Sailor Moon, 2001 Irwin Sailor Pluto (black version), her mini version, Chibi Moon and Saturn, Italian S Sailor Chibi Moon, Bandai Japan Excellent Team Sailor Saturn, Sonokong “Dream Pocket” Sailor Moon and 2001-2002 Sailor Moon Mini Collection Super Sailor Moon, Sailor Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, Saturn (correct boots), Saturn (sailor moon style boots) plus the S season keychain set: Super Sailor Moon, Sailor Chibi Moon, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto and Saturn

Third glass shelf: Italian Talking Super Sailor Moon with IRS Wand and Super Sailor Chibi Moon, 2001 Irwin Super Sailor Moon, Bandai Japan Talking Super Sailor Mercury (Crystal Change series), Bandai Supers Team regular Sailor Venus, 2001 Irwin Sailor Chibi Moon, Bandai Japan IRS Super Sailor Chibi Moon’s brooch, Bandai Asia Super Sailor Chibi Moon’s brooch, Stars era light up figures: Super Sailor Mercury, Super Sailor Mars (missing color filter) and Super Sailor Venus, Stars era key chains: Eternal Sailor Moon, Chibi Chibi, Super Sailor Uranus, Super Sailor Neptune, Sailor Star Fighter, Sailor Star Maker and Sailor Star Healer. Fourth and last shelf: Bandai Japan Beauty Change Series: Eternal Sailor Moon, Super Sailor Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Venus, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto and Saturn, Italian Beauty Change Series: Eternal Sailor Moon, Sailor Mercury, Mars and Jupiter, Bandai Japan Talking Super Sailor Chibi Moon (Chara Talk version), Italian S Sailor Venus earring version (has the same outfit, hairstyle and face mold as the Beauty Change Venus so for now she is filling in the missing spot), Stars light up figures: Eternal Sailor Moon, Super Sailor Mercury, Mars, Jupiter and Venus, Supers Candy figures: Super Sailor Chibi Moon, Stars Candy figures: Super Sailor Pluto and Super Sailor Saturn and Stars Stamps: Super Sailor Saturn (pink version)
The doll I’m after for this shelf is Italian Beauty Change Sailor Venus

The Pretty Guardian dolls are set up in a corner of my room. I finally opened the play set that came with special edition black haired Usagi doll and set her up in a bedroom while Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Venus and Luna dolls are set up in the Karaoke place. The Sailor Moon Mini Collection DX 1 and DX 2 sets are back in boxes to save space. Sera Myu themed Eternal Sailor Moon and Super Sailor Chibi Moon from Mini Collection along with the Eternal Sailor Moon send-for doll are standing on top of the DX sets with four Inner senshi mini collection dolls from various series displaying World DX 1 and DX 2 set outfits. The Irwin Usagi and Chibi Moon set plus extra Sailor Venus are back in boxes as well and are under the DX sets. All gashapon figures, World Candy figures, Irwin SD figures, Pretty Guardian candy figures and one Pachi Pachi figure are distributed between my two small display cases. All of my Sailor Moon plushies and plush key chains are hanging over my bed, the Galaxy girls (bootleg sailor moon dolls) are still in their corner, Dream Pocket Eternal Sailor Moon, Super Sailor Saturn and Pluto are in their cases on the wall near the door, Crescent necklace is hanging on the door, Irwin sailor moon pendant, stick on earrings, a complete set of friendship rings and the Supers era key chain are hanging on the sides of my glass case, all my DVD, Manga books, English books and Art books are in the drawers, all of my sailor moon cards plus a few mysterious items are in the folder and also in the drawers. The smaller set of drawers is given completely to the official extra outfits that came with my dolls plus their accessories, various extra outfits that came with loose and extra dolls and doll stands, extra light bulbs and batteries for light up figures, role playing toys and talking dolls.

And still the room is a bit of a mess. Wonder if I already have too much stuff?
